I paid about $92,000 for a 48 m² unit with partial sea view and access to a rooftop pool. When I’m not there, the management company handles short-term bookings through Airbnb. It doesn’t make me rich, but it covers most of the costs. Just make sure you understand Thai ownership laws (foreigners can buy condos but not land) and check building licenses. But for a “lock and leave” lifestyle and some rental income, it’s definitely realistic.
