Are bonus codes still a thing, or are they outdated?
I noticed a lot of older forum posts and articles talking about needing specific "bonus codes" to unlock welcome offers on gaming and shopping sites. But recently, it seems like most places just automatically apply the bonus when you sign up or make a deposit, without needing to enter a code. Does anyone else feel like bonus codes are becoming less common? Are they slowly fading away and being replaced by automatic bonuses, or are they still widely used? What has been your experience lately?

From what I have seen, they definitely seem to be phasing out the need for specific codes in many cases. You still see them sometimes, but usually the offers are automatically applied. It really just depends on the site.
